Fourth Grade students have been working on the concepts of musical forms. Musical forms are basic units often used by composers when creating a musical piece. Students have been listening to compositions and identifying the basic forms studied in class, in order to put them into practice when composing their own musical pieces.

Musical Forms
Cesar brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our MET music program. Born and raised in Panama, Cesar began his musical studies in the Universidad de Panama and later in the Universidad de Costa Rica where he studied the trumpet as well as musical direction. In Costa Rica he taught music at a school and later became assistant professor at a university. Upon his return to Panama he designed a Program of Interpretative Arts at a local private school and founded the school’s first orchestra. He now directs the musical program at the MET, with the conviction that through the power of music he can enrich the soul, create beautiful sentiments and educate students to be focused and caring citizens of the world.
